Elon Musk publicly supported Donald Trump during his Presidential campaign
The forthcoming President of the United States, Donald Trump, has weighed in on rumours that the Tesla CEO and owner of X (formerly Twitter) may one day be in office.
Trump won the latest U.S. election by a landslide, beating Democratic candidate Kamala Harris and was publicly supported by Musk.
During his campaign trail, Musk appeared to back him, and following his win, he wrote on X: “The people of America gave @realDonaldTrump a crystal clear mandate for change tonight.”
The BBC reported: “As one of the president-elect’s most important backers, the tech billionaire donated more than $119m (£92m) to fund a Super PAC aimed at re-electing Trump.”

Trump then created an advisory commission called Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and appointed Musk in the role.
The dynamic between the two has led some people to quip that Musk, the richest man in the world, is actually running the show – or will be next in line for the Presidency.
Speaking at Americafest, Trump addressed the rumours.
He said: “No, he’s not taking the presidency. I love having smart people…No, no, that’s that happening. But Elon’s done an amazing job. Isn’t it nice to have smart people that we could rely on?”

Trump then praised Musk for contributing towards his campaign, and his creation of SpaceX.
He continued: “No [Musk is] not going to be president, that I can tell you,” Trump repeated. “I’m safe. You know why? He wasn’t born in this country. Ha, Ha.”
Musk’s affiliation with the Republican party seems to be revealing the political affiliation of some stars.
Some of the A listers who have spoken out in support of Trump include Caitlyn Jenner, Kanye West, Dr Phil, and there are also those who have vowed to leave Trump’s America.
But perhaps more surprising is that another supporter may in fact be Nick Jonas.
Tesla Owners Silicon Valley X account tweeted: “Wait…. everyone thought Elon Musk was destroying the Brand of @Tesla and he shouldn’t be involved in politics. Tesla is up 100% since Donald Trump won!”
Musk replied with a GIF of two out of three Jonas Brothers members moving a table and wrote: “My, how the tables have turned!”
Nick Jonas himself then weighed in, replying with a photo of Musk and the sentence: “Take us to the Year 3000!”
The now viral tweet gained a lot of criticism.
One person responded: “tweeting at elon musk is definitely a choice.”
A second said: “is this a trump post?! @priyankachopra get your man.”
A third added: “i know it’s hard for you guys to comprehend but rich people don’t care about us; even nick jonas.”Featured Image Credit: Andrew Harnik/Getty Images/Anna Moneymaker/Getty Images

Lip-reader reveals what Prince William said to Donald Trump during rare meeting
Prince William and Donald Trump met in Paris after attending the reopening ceremony of the Notre-Dame Cathedral over the weekend

A lip-reader has revealed what Prince William supposedly said to Donald Trump during their rare meeting.
Trump met with the Prince of Wales over the weekend (7 December) at the British Embassy in Paris after attending the reopening ceremony of the Notre-Dame Cathedral which was which was devastated by a fire in 2019.
The president-elect – who will be the first convicted felon to serve in the presidential role – has since discussed his meeting with the royal family member, stating that he asked him about his father King Charles and wife Kate Middleton’s health amid their cancer diagnoses.
After shaking hands at the ceremony, the pair also met afterwards, with Donald describing William as a ‘good man’ doing a ‘fantastic job’.
Other world leaders at the ceremony included French President Emmanuel Macron, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and outgoing US First Lady Dr Jill Biden, who was representing President Joe Biden.
William, who was representing his father Charles as he continues his role as a global statesman, was expected to discuss the importance of the UK’s ‘special relationship’ with the US with both Donald and the First Lady during their respective meetings.

“I had a great talk with the prince,” Donald told the New York Post. “And I asked him about his wife and he said she’s doing well.
“And I asked him about his father and his father is fighting very hard, and he loves his father and he loves his wife, so it was sad.”
The 78-year-old added: “We had a great talk for half an hour, a little more than half an hour.
“We had a great, great talk.”
Speaking of the heir to the throne, Donald continued: “He’s a good-looking guy. He looked really very handsome last night.
“Some people look better in person. He looked great. He looked really nice, and I told him that.”
Before their chat, upon meeting and shaking hands at the embassy, the pair exchanged a few words.

The expert added: “And I can just about see Trump about to mouth ‘Ab…’ assume that is ‘absolutely’.”
Speaking of the interaction, royal expert and historian Dr Tessa Dunlop claimed that Donald seemed taken with the prince who exuded ‘untouchable confidence’.
She told The Mirror: “Height wasn’t the only in-built advantage that William enjoyed; he exuded the untouchable confidence that comes with future kingship.”Featured Image Credit: Pascal Le Segretain/Getty Images for Notre-Dame de Paris / Oleg Nikishin/Getty Images

Elon Musk gets transformed into Donald Trump’s ‘First Lady’ following bizarre rumour
Melania Trump may be the First Lady elect, but internet users have been reimagining Elon Musk in the role using AI

With Donald Trump preparing to make his way back to the Oval Office, he’s been busy appointing his new top team for the White House.
This includes none other than Tesla and SpaceX boss Elon Musk, who will be heading up the new Department of Government Efficiency – or, yep… Doge.
His role will see him ‘dismantle’ US government bureaucracy and ‘slash excess regulations, cut wasteful spending, and restructure Federal Agencies’, with Trump describing the gig as the ‘Manhattan Project of our time’.

In a statement, Musk said: “This will send shockwaves through the system, and anyone involved in Government waste, which is a lot of people!”
In response, social media users looking to mock Musk have taken it upon themselves to turn him into Trump’s ‘First Lady’, using the power of AI to reimagine him in Melania Trump’s upcoming role.
The joke was believed to have stemmed from author Stephen King, with social media users mistakenly believing he’d been banned from Twitter for his supposed part in the meme.
However, he later clarified that he’d not only not been kicked off the platform, but he also wasn’t the instigator of the trend – however amusing he found it.
“I see there’s a rumor going around that I called the Musk-man Trump’s new first lady,” he wrote.
“I didn’t, but only because I didn’t think of it. There’s also a rumor going around that Muskie kicked me off Twitter. Yet here I am.”
While Musk certainly isn’t due to take on the role of First Lady anytime soon, there has been some confusion around Melania after she was noticeably absent from a family photo following Trump’s win.

Before his victory was announced, she’d been seen by his side wearing huge black sunglasses, prompting wild conspiracy theories that Trump had hired a body double who was trying not to show her real face.
According to The Mirror, sources close to Melania claim that she ‘had no desire to return’ to life in the White House.
The source further claimed: “It is no secret Melania, by and large, loathed her time in the White House and that on leaving, she felt it cathartic.
“She told those close to her she had no desire to return and instead focused first and foremost on being there for their son, Barron. Now he is at university. Melania has more time but no desire to use that time in Washington.”Featured Image Credit: Anna Moneymaker/Getty Images/Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images

Donald Trump made one controversial promise he vowed to honour if he became president again
Donald Trump claimed to fulfil his promise ‘within two seconds’

Donald Trump made one controversial promise he vowed to honour if he became president again.
On Wednesday (6 November), the 78-year-old Republican was elected as the 47th president of the United States after beating Democrat candidate, Kamala Harris.
Trump has already vowed to do a number of things during his second term, after first stepping up to the presidential role back in 2016, but there’s been one promise he swore he’d fulfil ‘within two seconds’ of being brought back into power.
Trump, who is the first convicted felon to serve as president in the US, was convicted in New York in May of this year of 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in a bid to conceal a $130,000 payment that he made to to adult film star Stormy Daniels in the days before his first election win eight years ago.
Judge Juan Merchan ruled at the time, however, that the sentencing would be delayed until after the 5 November election, but never shut down the notion that Trump could serve jail time.

Even if Merchan does sentence Trump in the coming weeks, however, he’s likely to use his power as president-elect to appeal against any charges.
Trump will not, however, be able to issue himself a special pardon, being that the New York case centres on state charges.
He has a number of other state and civil cases against him as well as the federal cases against him for attempting to overturn the 2020 presidential election and the mishandling of classified documents.
On many occasions, Trump has shared his plans of firing special counsel Jack Smith to end the federal cases against him.
Smith’s charges against Trump accuse him of illegally taking classified documents from the White House and allegedly resisting the government’s attempts to retrieve such materials.

He was also accused of deleting CCTV footage of his staff moving boxes at his Florida home.
The federal indictment claimed that details on the US nuclear weapons programmes, potential vulnerabilities of the nation and its allies, and plans for retaliatory military attacks were in some of the documents.
Florida-based US District Aileen Cannon dismissed the case back in July but prosecutors have appealed her ruling.
“Oh, it’s so easy. It’s so easy,” Trump said last month when asked by conservative radio host, Hugh Hewitt, whether he would ‘pardon’ himself or ‘fire Jack Smith’ if reelected.
“I would fire him within two seconds,” Trump promised.Featured Image Credit: Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images/KAMIL KRZACZYNSKI/AFP via Getty Images

Melania Trump speaks out for the first time since Donald’s election win in new interview
The former First Lady of the United States discussed her husband’s win in her first sit-down since the election

Melania Trump has spoken out for first time since Donald’s election win in a brand-new interview.
Melania was previously the First Lady from 2017 to 2021 during her husband’s first administration. She’s going to be returning to the White House once again after Donald was declared the 47th President of the United States following his election win against Democratic candidate Kamala Harris.
Since the election, Melania has sat down and opened up about her transition back into the White House in her first sit-down since the election.
Speaking to Fox, the 54-year-old called the election result ‘incredible’.
“It’s incredible,” she said about her husband’s win over Democrat candidate Kamala Harris. “And, we are very, very busy… I’m establishing my transition team. And also, working on my office, putting my office together, and also, you know, organising the residence and packing.”
She added: “It’s incredible what you need to do when in that situation.”

Noting that this transition process is ‘different’ compared to the last one, Melania explained: “Well, this time is very different because we already know where we are going. And, we have all of the plans from before, so we don’t need to go back in.
“My team is in contact with the White House, so, that’s a plus. But we have all what we need.”
Elsewhere in the Fox interview, Melania praised her and Donald’s 18-year-old son, Barron, for reportedly pushing his dad to do podcasts that reached a considerable number of young men – a demographic that was instrumental in his win.
She said: “He’s a grown young man. I’m very proud of him – about his knowledge, even about politics, and giving advice to his father. He brought in so many young people. He knows his generation.
“Because nowadays, the young generation, they don’t sit in front of TV anymore, they’re all on their tablets, they’re on their phones and all of this these podcasts and streamers.

“He was very vocal and he gave advice to his father and was incredible how he brought in a success because he knew exactly who his father needs to contact and to talk to.”
Speaking of the White House, there’s reportedly a little-known ‘reason’ as to why Melania and Donald, who will be the first convicted felon to serve in the presidential role, will sleep in separate rooms in the White House.
American journalist Michael Wolff published a book titled Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House back in 2018 that claimed the couple were the first to sleep in separate rooms at the White House since John and Jackie Kennedy back in the 1960s.
In the book, Wolff simply explained: “She is a loner. He is a loner. They’re perfectly happy to be separated.”Featured Image Credit: Fox News/Allison Robbert-Pool/Getty Images
